You have to be 16 in most places. Still...you'll learn more working as a technician at walmart. Working at Autozone will be straight retail. If you want to work on cars it's not a great place to start.

Your best bet is to call the store you want to work at and ask. After submitting an application make sure you follow up and keep trying to get an interview until you are flat out told you will not get the job, or you get the interview

You will need to be 18 years of age to work for autozone in all states...............
