My husband might get a job in Tempe, Arizona. As far as commute time, crime, nice neighborhoods, good schools, etc. where would you live? Tempe? Chandler? Gilbert? Ahwatukee? Just asking for your opinion on this. I am almost a college graduate at the U of A. I was referring to schools as in schools for our future children.

There are some very nice neighborhoods in Tempe. Do you want to be near ASU? The downtown Mill Avenue area has a very nice college town feel. I would definitely look at homes in Tempe first. It really has everything you are looking for. The only drawback with Tempe is it is a little pricer than the other areas. Homes hold their value better there so you will pay more, but you'll also be able to sell for more. The light rail is another advantage in Tempe.
